Cruises from Boston12 Feb 2012
Those living in New England will be delighted to hear that many cruises originate in this city, bound for destinations in the Bahamas, the North Caribbean and even Canada.
Holland America, Royal Caribbean and Carnival Cruises all have exciting cruise itineraries departing from Boston, and Norwegian Cruise Lines also operates several vacation cruises with destinations both south and east.
Most of the cruise options from Boston that feature Caribbean destinations are about 9-12 days in length and stop at various ports on different islands, while the Canadian cruises are shorter and make stops at Halifax, Nova Scotia and Saint John, New Brunswick.
Also, Boston is an exciting city itself that deserves several days of exploration before or after the cruise, making this departure point a favorite for those wishing to visit the Northeast.
